Hi guys,,I recently bought a Bold 9000 on O2,,sometimes when I am using some of the apps the device just turns off!!! other times.the screen freeze for a min before it brestarts again,,anyone else had similar problems? please advise,,thanks P.S it mainly does that when I'm tryibg to use the maps
Too many programs open/running....Close programs when you are done with them. Pay particular attention to applications that are set to run in the background when closed. Unless you really need this, set all apps to fully exit when closed. (The core BlackBerry apps like BBM, email, browser, and so forth will run all the time and can't be closed. Ditto some RIM add on apps.)
Free memory....Check files free in options > status. What is the value immediately after a battery pull? If it is too low, you'll need to free up memory.
Third-party apps and themes .... Look for patterns. Are you running a particular app when this happens? If you rule everything else out, take a closer look at this possibility.
Media Card .... You may want to remove the media card for a while, as a test, if you've ruled out other possibilities.
Hardware issue? ... Rebooting doesn't worry me so much, because it is probably just software issue, and correctable. Turning off does worry me.
