Default outlook web access

Please Login to Remove!

Hello everybody,
I have just bought a 8310 blackberry and I am tring to install an email address so I can get my e-mails. I have one in yahoo and everything worked very well. The other one is from the server at work. My work e-mail address is also available in the web, with exchange server, the address is https:// .../exchange then I am asked for my user name and password.
Now, in the blackberry I go to email settings xxx61664; email accounts xxx61664;add an email account xxx61664; I fill in my email address and the password xxx61664; I will provide the settings to add this email account xxx61664; outlook web access xxx61664; in web access url I fill the above address https:// .../exchange, user name ( I fill my user name) I do not know what to enter in mailbox name though there I am stacked
What do I do? Any ideas?

Thanks in advance
Spyros

In BIS, you will need the incoming mail server so RIM know where to check. Since it is exchange server it might not work. You really need to talk to your IT to see if they support POP and then get the incoming server and port if required.

Actually, POP is not required. Unless there's been some other block put on it, Outlook Web Access (OWA) works well to provide access to an Exchange-based mailbox. Not quite as fast as BES, but works pretty well.

It's generally your user name. Depends on how your Exchange admin has things set up. If you're not sure then contact your Exchange admin.

Can anyone tell me how to get to "email settings" as Spyros above referenced?

Just omit your password when integrating the email account.

Default Mailbox Name

Log into you OWA and hover your mouse pointer over "Inbox" then look at the url at the bottom left hand corner of your screen - you'll have something/mailboxname - after the forward / is the mailbox name dont include any symbols such as #'s - Also confirm the URL is https or http
