Hello,

I just went from a bb curve to the storm so far i am loving it. I have several general questions though.

1. When i am in a well lighted room the phone is light up very bright and when I am in a darker room it is dark. Is this normal? is this fixable?

2. How do I clear the message envlope on the top of the screen right by the battery?

3. How would I delete email accounts that where set up?

4. Where can I go to get apps for the storm?

1) This is normal behavior
2) If you want to get rid of the asterisk, highlight the item in your message list then exit. It will go away. If you want to get rid of the envelope all together, open the item and it will go away,
3) Not sure what you mean here
4) App World is probably the best way; if you do a search you'll find it. It may already be on the device. Otherwise, you can download apps all over the place (including here) and most will have a desktop version and an Over The Air (OTA) version that you can download directly to the device, bypassing the desktop version

Do you, perhaps, have separate SMS & e-mail boxes, with something sitting in SMS? Other than that, you might try a battery pull; it may clear it up, as it often resolves many issues.

Not sure on how to remove mail accounts. It's not something I've ever done. But, I'm sure someone here knows how.
