Guys - I have a curious issue with my Torch. Last month I traveled abroad to Europe and Asia and my BB worked flawlessly on Roaming. Ever since I have got back 2 weeks ago, I am unable to make any international calls.

Specifically, my BB does not "dial-out" any international numbers, or tel #s that start with 011 or +"country code". As soon as any international tel# is dialed, I get an error message that says "Cannot Connect tel#". The response is immediate indicating that this is local from the handset.

I have tried the following:
1. Reloaded BB OS6 after wiping out handheld using BBSAK
2. All local calls work fine - out going or incoming
3. All incoming international calls work fine
4. SIM card works fine on other handsets, BB or others, for international calls.
5. Outgoing international calls gives an error "Cannot Connect tel#".

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Is this phone a corporate Blackberry? If it is the IT policy on the BB can restrict the calls.

you can also check this type of option. Generally used to control the type of calls.

General info not specific to all BB's
Block calls
1. In the phone, press the Menu key.
2. Click Options.
3. Click Call Barring.
4. Highlight a call blocking option.
5. Press the Menu key.
6. Click Enable.
7. Type your call blocking password.

Nope - this BB is not on Enterprise. In any case, out IT policy does permit international calls!

I do not have any call blocking option - this is not available by default on AT&T, I believe. AT&T has re-provisioned my phone 4 times in the last 10 days to ensure that there is no call blocking.

Good suggestion - but have reset the country code as well have tried without it...

There is something that prevents the phone from from dialing out....

I just spend another 2 hours with AT&T on this. They say they will ship a replacement handset fro me. This is not what I was looking for.
