Default Classic - Firewall

Please Login to Remove!

This may be more of an OS question then the Classic but once again coming from the 9930, I was curious to see if BB10 on the Classic has similar firewall options like on the 9930. On the 9930 I would go to OPTIONS - DEVICE - APPLICATION MANAGEMENT and then EDIT PERMISSIONS for each app whereby I could deny user data, etc. Is this possible on BB10/Classic? This is the main reason why I don't want to switch to Android because there is no built in firewall (although there was for a short time until Google removed it) and I don't want some unknown third party app running a virtual VPN to filter my apps or have to root the phone. Anyway, if anyone knows if this is still possible let me know. If it is possible, will it work on some of the core apps as well?

Thanks in advance.

BB10 has an App manager in the settings area. It does allow you to decide various options similar to older OS.

That's great. Hopefully I can block some of the built in apps as well (not just 3rd party). Thanks again!

BB10 has not been rooted in a long time

the BlackBerry apps are safe and doubt there would be a issue with them
