Yes, search is my friend, but I haven't found this exact issue yet. So here it is. I installed several themes, mostly with the desktop, and some over the air. I also installed the plazmic theme reader. I have OS 4.1, on a new 7130c. So here are the problems.

1. OTA installed themes and one Java installed theme show up in the "Themes", but several do not have "activate". I'm wondering if this may be b/c they are for other than the 7100 series. ??? In fact, some of my original themes, like BB Insight-Icon, now can't be activated.

2. The themes installed via desktop all appear in my applications, but none of them appear in "Themes". I'm told getting 4.1 and installing Plazmic is the fix, but obviously it hasn't worked. I have rebooted.

Any suggestions?

yes os 4.1 is needed with any theme made with plazmic.
there are limits as to how many theme(s) your phone can keep at any one time. This will depend on many factors ie: what other apps you have installed, how much memory you have left etc.

if you have os 4.1 i would remove any theme(s) you don't use and introduce the new theme and see if now it works?

I installed 12 themes one time and the 13th would not work. It did however work after removing one theme. I also know a few others who after 7 themes were done and had to remove one before the new theme would work.

I'll give it a try, but as far as "working" themes, I only have about 5. I have several others that are either stuck in applications, but not "Themes" or that can't be activated.

Ok..I'll give that a partial success. Some of the non-deleted themes came back as activatable (BB Insight Icon), but obviously, I blew away the custom themes, so I'm back where I started.
