Default multiple backberry devices sync with single email address

Please Login to Remove!

Can anybody advise whether or not it is possible to run two blackberry devices with one email address via BES.

One of our team is keen to use his 7230 most of the time, but would like the convienience of being able to use the new 7100 from time to time due to the more phone like form factor.

Is it possible to register both devices with the servr and to have a seamless set up so that all email and calander synching runs in tandem with both devices and he can swop between them at will with no sync issues or problems?

no. to my knowledge, only one mailbox can be registered with one PIN number. anytime the mailbox is registered on the client machine with a new handset, then the other will stop working.

Yea the way you described isn't going to work... the best you can do is create a "dummy" user who is associated with the other device and have all mail forwarded so they both get it...

Wireless calendar synching to multiple devices work only if you use the Shared Calendar, not the Personal Calendar. As far as I know.

I am curious, though, if BlackBerryOS 4.0 and BES 4.0 will allow wireless synchronization to public email folders (behaves like a mailing list or forum) -- allowing what you say to be accomplished. Can anyone confirm?
