Question Install Documents to Go update into the OS update?

Please Login to Remove!

It is really annoying how the latest OS updates come with an outdated DocsToGo. Is there any way to download the proper files (cod and alx) that I could just drop them into the loader files folder and overwrite the old ones? The site only gives the OTA (a jad file).

I would like to be able to load the latest OS on new and existing users and have this be up to date already.

If your device is running the latest Docs to go, go to the Os folder and find docstogo.alx
and rename to .old
this will then not show in the update and leave docstogo as being the current version.

This comes from the dataviz site as a way around it, they say it was fixed in 4.7, but its not.

I suppose that helps a little. But more what I am looking for is a way to install the latest docs to go right when you do the OS install. That way I don't have to manually update it later on.

The website seems to only offer the OTA download. I would need the desktop download or a way of creating one that will work with the app loader for the OTA version.

Or you could do a backup of your 3rd party apps.

Midnight, unfortunately those are the same files already loaded in the OS installer.

MrKyoo, that worked very well. I grabbed the necessary files, changed their extensions to cod, and edited the alx loader file to include sheets to go. Thanks!
