Anyone tried it with a BB yet?

I just got this yesterday but I think I'm going to wait for the H9 miniBlue.

What did you think of it? Looks pretty big, but wondering if it's loud, ,clear, picks up/ends calls quick and does does VAD. I assume it uses mini-usb for charging like othe Moto's (a real big plus!)

I have the H800 for my Pearl (8100). It has been two days so far and it is going well. It pairs very quickly and easily. I like how I can push the "button" and it slides the boom out automatically and turns it on. If you close the boom, it turns the headset off. The range is good, with very minimal static. Now for the most important parts! Volume: The volume on the headset is (to me) better than all of the other Motorola head sets that I have used. Call quality: When I am on the phone, I seem to receive no complaints, so far so good. Comfort: the headset does not feel flimsy like most Motorola headsets do. It also comes with three different ear hooks so that you can find one that fits best. Battery life: so far so good, I have not really used it enough to gauge the life. ***KEY NOTE*** This headset utilizes the MICRO usb port, NOT the mini usb like on the pearl. The headset does come with an adapter to convert mini usb-micro usb. It would have been nice to have it as a mini usb port so that I can charge it in my car with one charger and no adapters.

Thanks dafreakinrican02. I can live with needing to use the mini-micro usb adapter. You said the volume is better than other moto's but would you call it loud? Do you need to lower the volume for it to be comfortable in a normal setting?

In a normal room setting, it is perfectly fine. Even on the expressway, it is good enough. Now in a loud area such as downtown, or at night outside, the headset tends to struggle. But till this very day, I have not found a headset that has SURPRISED me with headset volume. Yes it is a good headset, but I did get it at a better price because of where I work. I also have the Nokia BH-900 and no matter what, ALL bluetooth headsets have pros and cons. Untill more trial and error feedback is received from consumers, the manufacturers will not know what the people want/need. I am soon to also try the Jabra 250V and 500 and will see how those units stand up. The motorola H800 is a good buy!!!

Compare the H670 to this. Same without the sliding boom? mini usb. That is why I like it. But the VAD trick I think is to hold the 8800 close to you when speaking. If you don't do that I can't seem to get consistency with any of my headsets. Others?

***UPDATE***
With more use of this headset I am finding my callers are not understanding me even in quiet environments. Maybe I am spoiled to the Nokia BH-900 and its DSP processing, but I think I will be returning it. If a caller can not hear me, then why even use the headset. Callers complain that the voice is muffled. Maybe it is how I talk or maybe my phone (8100 pearl). Back to the store it goes...

I'm on my 2nd one (BB 8800) and it's going back. VoiceNotes are great, reception is great, but the outgoing sound is terrible. I tried all the settings for echo & encrypt, but folks/recordings on the other end just can't understand what I'm saying. I switch to my old HS820 and I'm clear as a bell.
