Default Blackberry apps for college students

Please Login to Remove!

hi im going to be going into college next year and i'm one of those types of people that doesnt do their homework if it isn't written down somewhere. it would be really convenient for me to be able to keep track of all of my homework on my phone since i already use it for everything. do you guys know of any apps that are meant specifically for keeping track of homework assignments or some app that would work fairly similar to that?

doesnt matter to me if its free or not
thank you

I think m.studentberry.com is the OTA.

I would like to see Blackboard.com become mobile friendly. This is a client for on-line learning and has many of the features that you are seeking.

As a graduating senior, I used REXwireless ToDoMatrix and IdeaMatrix. I only wish I would have discovered them (or they had been around) before my junior year. I too need things written down and reminders set, otherwise things just will not get done. These two applications helped me to be more productive. All on my phone! Which of course, I always have by my side.

ToDoMatrix helped me to stay organized, follow up on certain tasks, send email reminders, and delegate tasks to other people. I set up folders for each class, and it was great. You can also make emails a ToDo or Note (IdeaMatrix) by "injecting" it into one of the apps. It was great for when a team member sent an email saying 'have this done by Thursday'... just make it a ToDo, set a reminder, priority, etc, and you're good to go.

I used IdeaMatrix when I was out doing research in stores on products, taking quick notes when talking to someone, or jotting down ideas when they came to me.

These apps are fairly expensive, but if bought together I think there is a discount. For me, the price was completely worth it. It has probably been the best purchase I've made for my phone. They have a free trial at their website (rexwireless.com)

Have you tried Cram? Cram is an application that allows students to create, import, and study for tests on the go. It's basically test prep on your BlackBerry!

Download:

OTA- http://simpleleap.com/downloadOta.htm?app=cram
Manual Desktop Installation - http://simpleleap.com/downloadApp.zip?app=cram
General Website (more details) - Cram - Test on Your BlackBerry

I used BrickBreaker the most during my college days Maybe if I used it less I would have left grad school with the 4.0 I wanted instead of the 3.9 I got :-/

Haha, that's perfect! :> I have to agree with gbnemail07, tuition is enough of an expense without adding to it by purchasing applications that your existing calendar and tasks can manage quite nicely.

Check out Studentberry

StudentDocket = StudentBerry - Berry + Docket

I had a look at the link, and they've changed their name to Student Docket. The new OTA download link is: m.StudentDocket.com

Studentdocket does work with OS 4.5. Before the 31st, it's 9.95. Not a bad price for something this useful.
