Ok so I have been debating on getting the new storm 2. Well after seeing the deal walmart had, I couldn't pass it up. 148 which is the cheapest I've seen PLUS they give you a 100 dollar walmart gift card. So the phone winds up being only 48 bucks. Not a bad deal from what I'm seeing.

Wow... Did you have to pay deposit on VZ? I essentially paid about $650 walking out of the store for my 9550. $400 deposit, $260 phone after tax (the rep gave me $50 off the device price), and i still have my $145 first bill to pay! Should've got the 8700 on my T-Mo line...

Nope wally world had the storm 2 for 148 without having to use a rebate. Well then they ran a special lazy week where you automatically get. 100 dollar gift card when you purchase any blackberry device. Not a joke. At first I thought it was too good to be true but... I told my friend who had been seriously thinkkng about getting the storm2. He went to walmart to make sure it wasn't too good to be true and it wasn't. So I had been trying to talk myself out of not getting one but after playing with his and knowing about that awesome of a deal, I just couldn't pass it up.

By the way sorry if I make any typos this is my first touch screen phone. Actually not doing too bad from what I can see. And I'm actually typing pretty fast.

That's an awesome deal. I had bought a Tour on Verizon when it first released and then decided I wanted the Storm 2. So I had to pay full fair. Worth it to me. But I wouldn't have minded a deal just the same.
