Default True Keypad lock on 7520..is it possible?

Please Login to Remove!

Crackberry xperts,

Here is one for yall..
Is it possible to lock the keypad completely? What I mean is when the device is in the lock mode, you can't type password/dial emergency call/place call etc. until you unlock the device.

Thanks,

If you can't use the keyboard, how do you unlock it?

Phones MUST allow to access 911 at anytime.

Remove and replace battery, if it still doesn't work. reload handheld software.

Unfortunately, that WONT work. Blackberrys are designed to allow the phone to show the popup for unlocking, dialing 911. Reloading the OS wont do it and neither will a hard reset. Although it was a good idea

You can set a password to be entered if someone requests the phone to unlock, but it will not cancel the pop up with the 911 option. Sorry
