i have a 7100i and i installed desktop manager 4.1 on my notebook. when i open the software up all i see is backup & restore and intellisync. were did the add application icon go? whats going on witht he software?

Is the DTM window open all the way? If it's a very small window then the other icons will be 'hidden' until you make the window larger.

Sounds like an incomplete install. Try an uninstall/reinstall. And see if that doesn't help.

its open all the way. i have uninstalled and re installed it 50 times. no lie. it still only shows those two icons. this was working two days ago then my computer messed up had to repair windows and now when i reinstalled the software i only get those two icons

Somewhere on this site there are instructions for a complete uninstall of DTM. Seems like it's a few more steps then just uninstalling via Add/Remove programs (which will work most of the time). I'd recommend searching for those instructions and after following them, re-install the app.
