Default Why wont weatherbug install on my Blackberry Storm?

Please Login to Remove!

I have been trying to get this app on my phone for the last hour and it wont work for some reason. When I visit the site on my phone it just gives me the browser version and no "download" option to install on my phone. I went to it on my computer and it let me download a .jad file which of course I can't install on my computer. Can anyone please help me? Thank you!

Is it compatible with 4.7?

I've heard this from a few people, maybe it's a big with OS 4.5+ I never had this problem thought.

Try this link: WeatherBug Direct For Blackberry

I've got a BBM buddy who installed it on his Storm without a problem, it might a Browser Settings, what options do you have enabled and which emulation type are you using? (Open your Browser hit the menu key and choose Options -> Browser Options)

I am a Storm user - I used to be an 8830 user. I have the latest released version installed (4.7.0.75). I have installed WeatherBug 2.0.0.17434. It works great. Its GPS function was able to track me around Montgomery and Harris County, Texas, today !

Do find this latest WB version, as the previous version was broken somewhere along the way. Check CrackBerry dot com when it comes back up.

Works good except radar does not show. Anyone else have this issue?

My radar shows up, a bit slowly.. I would send in a bug report from Options -> WeatherBug settings.

As others here have suggested, Weather Bug (and other third party apps) may need some time to get their code compatable with OS 4.7, which is relatively new.

There was a problem with running it on the Bold. I reported this and was surprised with the fast response. They sent me a link for the beta of a Bold version and it is working fine.

Yea, I have had a good experience with support on the WeatherBug side, they tend to get back to you very quickly.

It's running on Storm for me as well. Just make sure you disable all alerts you don't want.
