So far, I have successfully installed:

I installed the wsj.com application. Shows up in applications, but no icon anywhere. Any ideas?

Yes, it's because WSJ isn't designed to run on the 9530 "storm" and as such runs in compatability mode as do many apps not written for the storm but will still install.

You can disable compatability by going into Options / Advanced Options / Applications / Hover over WSJ Mobile Reader, Select bberry key / Disable Compatibility Mode in the popup.

This will remove the keyboard, but for me it also made the application useless as I couldn't scroll down or across.

I'm waiting for an update to WSJ Mobile and also Viigo.

Default Viigo is finally out in pre-beta for the Storm

Exerpt from my email...

"It's available now by going to /getviigo.com/beta in a mobile browser. It was just released today.

Please note that the transitions between screens sometimes get stuck. This is a known issue. To avoid this, hold the back key a little longer than you typically would.

If you have any other issues besides this one, please let us know."

Enjoy!!!

Sorry, but I cannot post entire links yet. don't forget the http: slash slash before the /getviigo.com/beta

Default Apps that work

Here is a buch according to appscout. appscout.com/2008/11/blackberry_storm_application_c.php

"Opera Mini. Works like a charm.

Facebook. Works fine.

Viigo. Redirects to a WAP page.

Yahoo! Go. Redirects to a WAP page.

TwitterBerry. Works clumsily, only in portrait mode.

Twibble. Doesn't work; loads tweets, but navigation is screwed up.

Google Maps. Works somewhat; street view and GPS don't work.

Beyond411. Doesn't work; can't save initial settings.

Slifter. Doesn't work; interface buttons aren't clickable.

Worldmate Live. Crashes.

MySpace. Works perfectly.

BBWeather. Works somewhat - only in portrait mode, you can't dismiss the keyboard, and navigation is odd; you can glide, but not click.

FlipSide - Tries valiantly, but fails; the bottom half of the screen image is cut off. NewsGator Go! - Like BBWeather. Portrait mode only, gliding not clicking, uses the

top half of the screen only, but works (barely.)

HandMark Pocket Express - No, and it tells you outright that the Storm is not compatible.

WeatherEye - refuses to download, claiming that my OS is below 4.1.

Vlingo - Says it doesn't support this version of the OS.

Followup! and Peekawho - No."

I would say it is worth it. Other than the back button issue(Which is not really an issue if you know about it) I haven't had any real issues with it.
