Default Random Missed Emails

Please Login to Remove!

Odd problem I'm seeking help with. The Bold is my fourth Blackberry, so I'm not a novice. But for the first time, I'm finding that on one of my 3 active email BIS accounts (the one that forwards my work email directly to my Blackberry email address), I'm noticing that some random emails are not being pushed. I've done a battery pull twice, and re-sent service books, without improvement. I updated to .216 a number of weeks back; this problem began only in the last 10 days. Anyone think updating to .221 or later will help? Any other ideas? Thanks.

Have you set any filters up in that time period?

I have not. Just went back to BIS to re-check...no filters on that account.

Is it a hotmail account?

No...it's my company email which is auto-forwarded to my Blackberry account (xxx@att.blackberry.net).

Are these messages going to your inbox at work or are they going to a subfolder?

To my inbox. But it should be noted that the forwarding happens at the server, and is not a function of my desktop Outlook's rules.

A good example happened a few minutes ago: I got two emails from Facebook four minutes apart...the first confirming somone adding me as a friend, and the second as a "so and so (same individual) has written on your wall..." email. The first one did not make it to my Blackberry but the second one did.

Thanks to those who chipped in with suggestions/ideas. It appears a company email server was causing the problem. It was reset today and suddenly dozens of "stuck" emails began dribbling out...not just to my device, but others in the company as well.

Thanks for the update. Did they elude to what the issue was?

Not so far. I'm just amazed that no one (besides me) apparently brought it to the attention of our guy who is the BB point-of-contact in the company. I mentioned it to him more than a week ago, and got back the standard "do a battery pull" response. You would have thought others would have wondered what was up and a pattern would have been detected.
