Default Missing Feature Since Upgrading to .75

Please Login to Remove!

when i first got the phone, when i would press and hold down a number to dial a speed dial contact, the phone would make a series of quick beeps, like a phone number being dialed quickly ( a 'speed' 'dial'). since upgrading to .75 that sound when i dial a speed dial contact is gone.

anyone know how to get it back? anyone know what sound/feature i am talking about?

I read somewhere they removed it.. I don't know if on purpose or by accident though. I wish I had it back for sure.

Bring it back. Do the programmers try out the updates or even think about the features usefulness?

when you hold down the button to dial a contact only hold it for about 2 seconds not untill it starts to dial.. it accually works much better if you only hold it for a short time.. if i do it this way i still hear the beaps if i hold it untill it dial the beeps are gone...

I got mine working from tips at CrackBerry. My Storm is definitely slower than my 8830, but its not bad. I have my left spare button set to evoke/remove the KYBD. Also, when I hit the send key, I set it to evoke my Contacts. Either open the KYBD from the screen, or hit the side button and then mash the 1 key. What about using voice ?

Ahh.. NOPE. There is NO tip for restoring the speed dial tones in this 30+ page thread.

I get the speed dial tones when using my bluetooth headset but not without it. From the various sites/forums/threads I searched over the weekend, this appears to be a known issue with some Storms... not all... but some.
