Hello all,

we use BES 4.1.3 (Bundle 60) and Groupwise 6.5 latest patch level. The problem exists on all types of BB Handhelds we use.
In Groupwise calendar you have notes, which are remarks at a certain day (e.g. holiday or birthday reminder, et cetera)

Attention: This notes are not related to the notes on a BB device which in Gropwise (GW) are "recipientless messages" (I don't know the correct english term because we have a german system)

This "GW-notes" are displayed on all BB devices as appointment from 0 to 24 hour. Because of this, it's not possible to look for free times in the calendar! Which is a problem for my CEO!

BUT if you make an "all day event" on the BB device this event is displayed correctly on the BB device at the beginning of the day with an red dot in front. Unfortunatly this "all day event" will be converted into an "all day appointment" from 0-24 hour, after it is sychronized wireless with the GW calendar.
In GW this "all day event" from the BB device is handeled correctly as "GW-note" for that day.

Now my question: Has anyone the same problem? Can I change this behavior so far that "all day events" stay that way on the BB device?

My CEO will stop using his BB if I can not change this...

I have GroupWise 7.0.2 here but I'm having luck creating the "all day" event as a "Posted Reminder Note". It shows up as an all day event on the Blackberry. When I created an "all day" appointment in 7.0.2 it didn't send it to the BB. When I created one on the BB it came up in GW as a "Posted Reminder Note". I don't know if this will work in 6.5 or not.

When creating the appointment on the blackberry I know if you change the "Show Time As" section to free it will post as a note in GW and will show him/her available when a busy search is done from gw.
