Default When installing a new OS is it better to . . .

Please Login to Remove!

. . . to wipe clean ad load completely fresh, or is it better to do an upgrade right over what is there already?

Just do the upgrade without wiping that way it can backup your current content and restore it after it's finished installing the new OS.

I've done it both ways. If you want to increase your file free a bit more, backup the device and third party apps, then do a security wipe, upgrade the OS, and then do a restore.

Thank you i thought it would free some more space with things that had not unistalled properly or may have been hung in limbo.

The savings will be insignificant. Unless you are eliminating old apps from being reinstalled. An upgrade does the job nicely.

Did an upgrade rather than wipe no problem installing went smooth, noted the same issues noted but the improvements in browser speed and gui under applications and others worth the effort will recommend 5.0.0.230 to anyone.
