Currently PocketMac is only able to sync the "work" contacts hopefully future releases will address this.

I figured out how to get it to say home address when its there home waht you need to do in address book is not use the first address colum hit the plus key and get a second one use the bottom one to type in the address and it will show up as there home address on your BlackBerry or at least it works on the 7520 that way.

But not for the Blackberry, according to the update page. Only the other versions.

Default Upgrading to TIGER sequence

Can I upgrade pocketmac to the tiger compliant version and then upgrade to tiger or should I upgrade to tiger first?

Default I have updated to 3.1

And I dont have Tiger. It hasnt worked since.

Is it just me or is the support at Pocketmac useless.

I'm in the UK, so I emailed them on Monday, hadnt got a reply yesterday so I called them in the states. The woman I spoke to just took some info from me and said she would look into it.

If anyone has the verison released before 3.1 I'd love to get it from them, just so I can sync my nice new 7290, which currently has no data on it, ahhhhh

No, version 3.1 is not compatible with 10.3.x you will require 3.0.92

Find a willing friend with a PC.

well, that wouldn't be an issue, my girlfriend uses PCs, but then every time I want to install something do I have to cmpletely reset up my BB? On my treo (the only thing I have reference to) I would have to pretty much do a hard reset and start over. Can I load desktop manager onto a PC and just use the app loader and not sync anything else?

I have been trying to get pocketmac to work since they released the tiger version (3.1) with no success. They now have 3.11 which I downloaded and tried today. Still the same problem. It syncs all but the calendar. Their support is totally useless. I have emailed and called and gotten nothing but a request to send them the sync log. Two weeks later they still have not contacted me with a suggestion or workaround and they don't return subsequent emails and calls. Most discouraging.

Yeah, my app loading and data backups are all done on a PC we have in the house. It sucks. I hope that someone (pocketmac?) will eventually come up with an app loader + backup utility for Mac. Considering that pocketmac is our only option right now, what can you do?

ero2, you do not have to do a hard reset everytime. You just plug the BB to the pc and either sync or load the application. You don't have to do both.
