As stated in another thread in RIM software:

It wont allow you to install software, which really sucks, as thats the basic purpose of software.

The bad with both Mac Solutions: you can't sync your BB the first time with a BES and it does not connect to Notes, so it's useless for me ...

You might want to contact them anyway to get these features added.

Also, with Vesrion 4.0, you can do OVER-THE-AIR activation :D Then that problem should be solved. (Although I don't know about Notes.)

RIM have mentioned 4.0 bes for Notes before now, although they have been quieter about it so maybe it won't be out at exactly the same time as the exchange version.

Its a good thing too, notes is a ghastly mishmash of a system nowadays and thats before you involve any extra stuff with blackberry.

Just purchased a copy myself, very impressed at how well it does work aside from a few short comings. In comparison to EPICAD's solution which does far less at triple the cost I can't complain about this solution. Best of all I can finally sync my contacts in Entourage on my Mac and my Outlook contacts on my work PC.

I have had nothing but success with the Pocket Mac solution. It worked the first time and continues work work just fine. Support told me that they are working on a software install feature for coming releases.

Thus far PocketMac has worked fine for me. The contact/email information was key for me.

now trying to integrate my BB into my work's Groupwise system - that's my next step without buying a BES...too much cash for my little school district.

There's a thread within this forum at least I think I saw it here about another GroupWise user who noted how to create a re-direct rule within GroupWise for BB users.

That was actually me inquiring about Groupwise. I got email coming to me it's just all showing as being from me (obviously). if I do a "delegate" vs. a forward external email to my groupwise account looks normal but internal still shows as being from me.
