Facebook photo upload fails?
Please Login to Remove!
I'm trying to gather some details if you have had this problem, please post here.
I have had the upload fail more often that succeed lately.
Problems exist both in uploading from Media > Pictures > select image > Send/Share to Facebook, or if uploading direct from withIN the Facebook application itself.
What's your experience?

Just tried. I took a photo and uploaded to Facebook via the camera app and it worked. I then tried to upload the same photo via Facebook itself, and that also worked.
Not sure what to tell you.

I have heard of this problem with intermittent users and have experienced it myself
It eventually resolved itself after awhile

Something to bear in mind is that Facebook updates/fixes code and hardware that impacts relatively small groups of users at any one time. So what may work for some may not work for others. Basically a rolling update so that all users aren't offline at once.
So that may be what's happening here. Tomorrow, image uploads may not work for me while they do for you.

I usually have to try it several times before it finally uploads. It's not very reliable for me. Using the Facebook for BB 1.7.

I have the same problem.
It seems with each "update" of Facebook, it gets worse.
When I open the app, it clogs my Storm 2 terribly.
The only reason I keep it on the phone is to upload photos to an album.

8320 on tmo
OS version 4.5.0.161
FB version 1.7.0.22
I have been having trouble for the past few weeks trying to get images to upload. Multiple attempts don't work. It may work a few days from now. What I don't understand is that my wife and I have the same 8320, running the same OS version, on the same carrier and one of us can usually upload and the other cannot...we get an error message that says..."a connection cannot be established to the facebook server"

You? Know what you are doing? Nah... I mean, seriously... all you need to do (according to Grenville Jaxon) is "click photo and then upload photo." How hard can it be?

Just out of curiosity how are your pictures failing to send?
I remember on my pearl sometimes I wouldn't even get an x it would just sit there with the pending icon for hours upon hours and it wouldn't show up on facebook (sometimes it did though even though the app never showed it as sent).

Failing, as in, not uploading. The message folder entry either sites with it sending ad infinitum, or gives a red X over the icon with the message, "upload failed" and the resend link is present.
