Default Calendar reminder problem

Please Login to Remove!

I have a recurring appointment in my calendar for every day that has a reminder set to go off 5 mins before the appt. Some days the reminder works and some days it doesn't. Has anyone noticed this problem?

Thanks!!

Default Profiles?

Do you notice it happens when you're using a different profile (e.g., works in Vibrate but not in Normal)? Maybe you have some settings in the profile for calendar alerts that are different?

Just a guess.

I have this issue with tasks as well. I am feeling like this is a really unacceptable problem, as besides email, Tasks was my main draw to a smartphone.

Did you ever figure a way to fix this?

I hate to say this, but is there an in expensive Task Manager out there that has reminders? I cringe writing that since the phone comes with this feature.

Is RIM known for releasing software updates to solve these issues? This essentially renders the task manager useless, unless you are the type that does not use reminders and just likes to keep the list for reference.
