Default Blackberry/Internet related question?

Please Login to Remove!

Okay, so, I have a silly question that probably has a long, complicated answer, but I'm going to ask anyway.
My best friend has a Blackberry. When I change my picture on Facebook or MySpace, my friend's Blackberry's page automatically changes my pic to whatever I have done.
How does it do this without being connected to the internet? A detailed explanation would be appreciated. Thanks.

Short and simple... It doesn't. There would have to be an underlying internet connection there. MySpace on BB won't function without it.

Exactly, you need a Blackberry Data Plan to use online applications such as myspace and facebook.

Here's the deal ... FYI.... If your blackberry is using data and you do not have a data package on your account or bundled with your voice plan, you are using data and you may be paying for it one way or another, maybe on a per kB fee. If you want to know, look at your detailed bill. If you are new to this, and if you don't want to get hit with a huge, unexpected bill, check with your carrier (service provider) and find out what is going on.
