I have been having an issue when I receive an email that I am the receiver of (the to field).....if I reply all to that message it puts my name/email back in the to field and sends the reply to me as well. If that same message has me in the cc field and I reply all it puts me in the cc field...rather annoying. I have wiped, factory reset, added/deleted from BES, started with fresh data and nothing......no resolution....they are now trying to replicate in their "labs" and will be calling me back in 24 hrs. Since my last update, I am not getting any HTML email to come to my device....it comes to it but doesnt show the HTML, just the text....if I go to options email settings there is no setting to check HTML email....didnt there used to be?

I know I asked before but are you sure you do not have any auto cc: set anywhere?

another question, Are you using Outlook? I think you said you were. Outlook rules wizard can be set to auto cc on all sent email.

No idea where it could be set. It's not cc all of the time either and it doesn't happen from outlook. Only on device.

Ok so there is no reason for the Blackberry to auto include the receiver in any sent email but Outlook can by either a miss setting in the rules wizard or a setting intentionally set but miss understood. Not suggesting you did this but maybe your IT group as a default or by mistake. Anyway read this on the rules wizard and maybe it will help.

Thanks again but this is not the issue. Ive checked outlook and asked my BES admin. Plus, how would you explain the "to" field when I'm in the "to" message and then in "cc" when I am in "cc"? It also doesn't happen in outlook.

Perhaps you should delete yourself from your contacts list and then have the BB admins delete your account. They can immediately re-add you, from scratch, complete with a new activation. That may be the only way to purge what sounds like a bad file or setting somewhere.

I finally took this route and it fixed it. The funny part is that late yesterday I got a follow from the RIM support team saying this: "After investigating the issue using a BlackBerry 9650 Smartphone running Sprint 6.0.0.415 device code, it has been determined that the behavior you reported is actually by design. By default, the Reply To All option will in-corporate all recipients including the original recipient in the To or Cc fields. The only existing work-around is to delete your address from the To or Cc fields."

I replied back stating that starting over had solved my problem but that according to you I had actually created an issue since it was supposed to do this all along.

I don't know about you but the last thing I want is to send a copy of every email I send to me! I also downgraded the code from .524 to .415. Not sure if that had anything to do with. Anyone still on .415? Should I go back to .524?
