Default X box connection

Just wondering if there is a way to connect a BB pearl to an X box to play live. Maybe thru your laptop connected to the phone.

Just thought it would be cool to play x box in my buddy's car and be able to play call of duty online while at car shows.

Doesn't allow you to play, but I believe there is an Xbox connect app in the Aftermarket SW forum that allows you to keep track of your xbox buddies...or something. I'm not a gamer so didn't pay too much attention.

Couldn't I hook up my phone to my computer and then connect my X Box to the laptop thru USB?

I no there are settings to allow a computer to connect to another computer to use its online service.

I am going to try this out and see what I can do. If anyone has any suggestions let me no.

Are you saying you want to use your phone as a modem? I dont think it would be able to handle the kind of connection XBL demands bro...

If you have a wireless card you can connect your Xbox to your computer with an ethernet cable and go to your wirless settings> properties> advanced> check the box that allows internet sharing.

Google it for full tutorials.

I do not think that the xobox connections would be fast enought on the network...the x-box requires 50 mps for connection..i am unsure you can connect at that rate..and if you do...i am sure it will be laggy..good luck let us know if it works...

I did think about the speed for my phone as a modem. I tested it before and was getting just under 700k and 125k. It might be a little slow but I had wow for a while with 700k and i was able to play most of the day, around dinner time was a little lagy.

I am trying it right now, will let you know

yeah so maybe I am not the right person for the job!

I did bet the X box to connect to my computer and share media and files like when it is connected to my router, but it could not attain its own IP address for some season. I made sure DHCP was turned on but just wouldn't connect.

Any ideas?
