is it only by the electrical outlet?
Have you tried to charge it with the USB cable?
have you tried different outlets in the house?
and have you installed the latest HH code onto your blackberry?

That's the beginning of a brick right there...if all else fails, try the jlcmdr for a format and reinstall...

Try a new battery. Make sure that it is an OEM one for the 9000.
