Default Email Filtering

Please Login to Remove!

I feel a bit stupid, I cant remember how I set this up. When email comes from a particular person, it shows up with a red font (identifying importance, it's my boss....). I want to set up more, but cant figure out how I did it to start with! All other emails come in with normal black font.

Thanks,
Bob

You've set a filter to flag those messages as Level 1 Messages.
You can add new filters using the BIS portal on the web, or via the BIS application on the handheld.

It's coming back a bit to me. I do not have access to Verizon BIS Portal, and I do not have a BIS application. I do remember somehow when the device was new setting them as level 1 now. Just still cant find where.

Thanks,
Bob

The Verizon BIS portal is here:
https://bis.na.blackberry.com/html?brand=vzw&locale=en

On the handheld, look in the Setup folder for something called 'Email Settings' or 'Personal Email Setup'.
You might have the icon hidden. It's definitely there somewhere.

Also... is this a corporate device on a BES? Because filters are handled differently in that type of environment.
