If ringtones is your primary satisfaction to determine whether you like the BB or not, why did you buy it in the first place, and in the second place that can be easily remedied, sell it and buy a standard phone so that you can play ringtones and good ones at that to your hearts content.

I have had this phone for almost a year and I've hated it the entire time. NOt because of the ringtone problem, I hate it because number one, it's hard to hear any tone coming out of it at all let alone a song. Number two Nextel doesn't inform you ahead of time that it cost you a $100.00 a month for the sometimes good /most times bad services they provide. I will be finished with my comittment to Nextel this month. I will be selling my BB as soon as I finish picking between the Treo 650 and the LG new V phone. Then I will be completely satisfied I'm sure.
But my reason behind hating it is not for the lack of songs. I'm just finding more things to add to my list as time goes by.

EEEEEEWWWWWWWWWW!!! I hate it when somebody doesn't really know why BlackBerry's came about in the first place!!!! It is not some STUPID phone for Ghetto tunes!!!

It is like reading somebody whinning about being married to somebody but just sticking around co'z it is too expensive to get a divorce. Oh well, the hubby in this story is about to die (out of contract), can't help but wish her luck.

But damn, it is soo aaaaannnnnoyyyyyying! It's getting into my nerves!

My mother has a Treo. She was used to the Palm OS so she went with the 650. I should have steered her towards a blackberry. Her Treo650's BT doesn't even work with her Lexus rx400h. Lexus says Palm and Palm says Lexus. Either way I love the SUV but hate the phone.
