Being a new BB user I do not know what speed to expect out of my internet browser. If I access the internet, say ebay for instance, the page will take 2-3 mins to load, and when I try to log on to MY EBAY, the BB stalls and I just get a spinning hourglass until I remove the battery. Are there tricks to speed up the browser and make it more reliable. Or is there a problem with my handheld.

You could try the update to EVDO--providing you live/work in an EVDO coverage area.

There have been some issues with this upgrade...

Are you using a mobile-optimized website for ebay? (I believe one exists?).

eBay loads in about 10 seconds on my 7250 (Verizon thru Earthlink) using http://wap.ebay.com

yeah...

first thing to do.
turn off images. you dont need that fluff!
with images off you should be quick ..when you want images hit more images but for ebay you dont need images....most of the time
