Default 8700 ringtones and audio

All this talk about the 8700...What are the ringtones gonna be like this time around. Will you be able to use your own mp3s. like "some" phones. just curious, as the 1980's cell phone ringers coming from my 7250 get annoying

You could probibly use mp3's, as theres some conversion thing for the 7100 series (see: http://www.download.com/Blackberry-M...-10388847.html)

FYI: Theres a forum for 8700

Probably a gentle way of suggesting to use the search function.

Default Size limit

I remember a post saying there was a 300kb size limit, so if that is true, you can use parts of your thousands of songs. I am going to take the yakity, yak, yak, yak part out of George Thorougood's "You Talk Too Much," and try to use that.

Default Where can I find MP3?

I am not savvy enough to make my own mp3 file. I would like a site where I can access mp3's similar to what is found in the 7100 series discussion. I have spent a while searching through the 8700 forum (yes, I searched before posting) but haven't found a site listed. Bear with me. I just got the 8700 today and it is has been a lesson going thru all the suggestions to improve the phone so a little music would be nice.

Try posing this question on the Ringtones, Themes, and WallpapersForum, there will be a lot of help there.

Hope this helps.
