My best friends wife is investigating her husbands phone and trying to retrieve his sms and bbm messages to and from me! I know that you can get some stuff through search but... theres some stuff she just doesn't need to see and my husband doesn't need to know! I'm freaking out! Is there anyway of hiding these messages? Or for that matter is there any way of her getting all of our convos through the carrier or phone? This is my first time on a forum btw.
Don't have conversations with a married man that you do not want his wife or your husband seeing.
I doubt you will get much help here, most of the people who frequent this forum are moral people. The most you will get is comments on why you shouldn't have been doing it in the first place, I'm afraid.

All you need to know wrt the security of the device, and settings, can be found in the help app on the device itself. About everything else, maybe an attorney.
Replace the device with a new one, same model. That's the only way to be sure. These days, with access to a device and with the password, lots of stuff is recoverable by forensic means.
