Connect your pearl to your PC. Go to your Desktop Manager, find the icon of "Media Manager" (4th one from the left if you're using DM4.2 comes with the Pearl phone), then it would pop up a window displaying your computer's file system on the left, your Blackberry media folder on the right, basically you could just drop whatever supported audio files (mp3, etc) from the left to the right. Voila, all done. It would be better if you already put in a microSD card since the default memory size could be limited depends on how many software you'r running on your pearl.
