I'm very interested in it...I would want to see one with a belt clip and one without or one that can do both so it could be pocketable if wanted. I personally don't like the rubbery feel to it. I bought serveral clear cases from the web that go over the phones for my previous phones and they have worked great. (you can find them on ebay, V3, N70 just to name to two I have used the cases with) Good protection without adding a bunch of bulk. Something that covers the screen and the back and sides would be nice..of course the cut outs for all the ports and the trackball, keyboard area. Just like DocGo posted above...

"Once the crystal case is on your [device], it will not come off easily and will remain safe and secure." - Seidio Detailed Description

Battery pull resets may prove to more difficult with a crystal case. And although RIM is set to release their 8100-specific rubberized skin, I would prefer a Seidio version (combed with a matching holster) based on the polymer of the 7130c skin.

i would buy it if it didnt get dirty quick. would it be the same material as the case for the ipod nano? if so, then i would steer clear, that gets too dirty too quick. plus everyone would think im some sort of wierdo because it would look like im holding up an ipod nano to my ear :D

Default Case should include screen protection

I would like a case like the Crystal Case that includes screen protection, via hard clear plastic cover or something in that realm. I am uber paranoid about scratching the beautiful screen on my new 8100.

That would be extremely nice, although I would like to be able to see the chrome, I think I would still purchase this case.

Talking Kudos to Seidio

Kudos for seeking user feedback on this product. While I'm late in replying (just discovered the forum), I'd still like to chime in with my 2 cents.

I'd love to see a rubberized (silicone?) case for the 8100 (transparent or black) that includes access to all soft-keys and ports on the sides of the device (including the lanyard anchor). And, although I'm not going to be playing catch with my Pearl, I'd give bonus points if you had thick, raised bumpers along the edges to give it some extra protection and grip.

Most importantly, I think it should have some sort of hard screen protector that is RAISED (up and off the surface of the screen) so as to prevent directly scratching the gorgeous screen, or indirectly scratching the screen by trapping dust right up against it.

Thanks, and I'm looking forward to seeing (and using) the finished product.

I would raise the price to $38.50...$20.00 just seems so cheap!

Thank you very much for all the feedbacks. Our crystal case is super slim and thin one. It is about 1.2 mm thick. we will not add the belt clip because it will add the bulkiness. however, we will offer a matching holster for the crystal case.

how about the colors ? which color(s) would you like to see ?

That hasn't seemed to be the majority opinion; with any othe crystal cases that we've developed, the overwhelming response has been KISS - no clips or other attachments.

I hope you're kidding LOL. If they raise it to 38.50 I'll just wrap my BBP in seran wrap and scotch tape.

I have bought your crystal case for the Treo 650 and also bought one for the treo 700 and absolutely love them. Will the hard plastic on this case also cover the screen to help from scratching. Since the Pearl doesn't have a touch screen I don't see that there would be a problem covering the screen. As far as colors, Clear, Smoke and maybe Black....

We could introduce that as the economy solution - thanks for the idea. We could even introduce a much greater variety of saran colors without bothering our overworked and understaffed development folks. Any preferences on the tape brand? :>

Hi,

The screen won't be covered, but with the great majority of folks using screen protectors of one kind or another, this hasn't proven to be much of an issue. Again, we want to keep things as light and portable as possible.
