I've had my blackberry tour for over a year now, and it's always been dependable. I've come to rely on it for my emails, and as I'm always running around, it's very important for me to be able to read all my messages in transit.
Out of the blue (this morning), I found that all of the emails my phone is receiving are not loading. Instead, I am getting a "message Truncated due to size" for everything. I have no idea what could cause this, since it was working perfectly less than 5 hours ago.
Can anyone please help me?

Happening on my Torch through AT&T also! I have it reboot over night and when it came back on ALL emails, even one word ones I send to myself, say "Message truncated due to size". The subject lines come through. This is for gmail, yahoo and hotmail. HELP HELP HELP

Same for me: 5 hours ago I got emails and now "message truncated due to size" on every single email (yahoo, gmail, aol, local cable, corporate, etc) after 7am boot up. (Old BB bold 9000, AT&T, corporate BIS, v.5.0.0.822)

Same problem for me, with Sprint, with the 9130e. Every single email has the "message truncated due to size" message. I rebooted it, but still the same problem.

I'm wondering if this is a glitch due to Sprint upgrading to BIS 4.1.

it is on all carriers, tmobile, sprint, att and verizon. but they were to do a BIS upgrade today, maybe that is the problem, shame that no one from RIM communicates

It is happening to me too, in Canada, with Rogers, one of Canada's largest carriers.

I was deleting old messages off my BB, thinking that might be the cause, but now see this issue affecting other users with multiple Wireless carriers in the US, so must be with RIM.....

I am sure they will fix....at some point

Thank god it's not only me... I just posted because my Curve 8530 - through Sprint - is experiencing it too - last night all was fine, now every single message is truncated. What is going on?!! And nowhere else online am I finding message one about this, except here!

As I said earlier, its working fine on AT&T in NH. No problems at all today.

Have you tried a battery pull and resent service books?
