Thumbs down 4.5 Update Causing Browser Issues?

Please Login to Remove!

Hey all,

I updated to 4.5 about three weeks ago and ever since I have had severe browser issues in that it constantly times out. In the past three weeks I have only been able to successfully visit TWO websites (both tests on google.com). I have taken out the battery and waited (duhh), I have tried to go through medianet which is the only thing ATT recommended. I am in a full edge area (EDGE showing on desktop of phone). So, what do you Blackberry gurus have to advise?

Thanks a Ton,

Evan

when i try to access a site the bar will load slowly (requesting) and by the time it gets to the end the error will read something like "cannot connect to the server please try again or if the error persists call blah blah"

so i called em they said power cycle it and it did nothing and that was their only input. chalk it up to a bum phone? can themes mess with this? any other suggestions. and I am running the newest version of 4.5 english

And this doesn't happen whenever you try google.com?
Do you have full service bars?

I also have experienced this same thing. The fix was actually quite simple - clear your cache. Annoying to have to do this step, but it works for me when I clear it out.

Wirelessly posted (Curve 8310)

When your web page is loading, hit O for options, then Cache operations, then clear
