Hi All,

Currently our BES servers are running at 5.0.3.31. I went to update to MR7 but after installing using the BesAdmin account on the standby instance, and than failing over services to it and making it primary, no mail will flow from exchange to the bes. Even after waiting for approximately fifteen minutes and restarting all services during that time including the system attendant and transport services on the exchange servers.

Unfortunately I do not have the luxury to wait longer than that due to reliance on the services but 15 minutes should be enough time for the transfer agents to reestablish a connection back to exchange I would think.

Our exchange servers are 2010, SP2 RU2, they are configured in a DAG with active databases spread across both nodes.

I am not sure where to look to determine the source of the problem. The install appears to complete fine with no immediate errors.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Our existing services are running reliably but I just thought it would be prudent to update since it is pretty out of date at this point.

You have to check the MAGT logs and post the relevant snippets here. Otherwise it is difficult to help.

Please check the blackberry server configuration > server tab > edit mapi profile, using the besadmin account.Let me know if that fix it.
