Question Blackberry App World

Please Login to Remove!

Hello,

I just got my blackberry curve 8350 yesterday from virgin mobile, and I am trying to open up blackberry app world, It says I need to download the latest version, and so I click on that.. and then it says it is requesting information for about 2 minutes and then I continue to get a message saying.... Exceeded maximum redirect attempts to server http//appworldblackberry.com/webstore..

and when I try to redownload it.. It will not allow me to do so.. please advice..

I am able to use browser fine..

Hello

Quick question. Is your device attached to a BES?

hi,

I need some help BB users...

I turned 15 the other day and my parents gave me blackberry curve 8520 for a present that was handed down to me from my father as a heritage as what they say, whatever that you call that. Im so happy coz it'z my first BB phone. As i checked on its features, i noticed it has an old OS of 4.6.1.314 and so i updated it to version 5.0.0.681.

Here comes the problem, my bb app world v1.1.0.33 cant be seen. I tried to reinstall it but then i still cant see the icon... I tried to go to this site >>> mobileapps.blackberry.com/devicesoftware/entry.do?code=appworld but i cant see where to download BB app world...

Dont know what to do by then... pls help!

BB fan,
chayz

Have you a data plan for the BlackBerry, you have to enter that URL in the browser of the BlackBerry itself, not from a PC.

You need to call your carrier and ask them to add a BlackBerry Data Plan on your account. It will be an additional charge. Without it, no App World or e-mail. Or most of the apps you want.

They are the company that you get your mobile phone service. It is not "my blackberry id would not work". It could be T-Mobile or Vodafone or one of the many mobile phone carriers.
