cant seem to figure this one out:

i got a bold, gave my sister my old curve, now when my brother in law (her husband) sends her messages they forward to me, or more specifically, my bold with the new pin.

obviously theres some kind of forwarding function going on for messages sent to my old pin, but how can it be resolved?

It's not forwarding. Apparently when you change devices, it updated your Bro-in-law's device to your new PIN.

You can test this by sending PIN messages from the Message folder (not BBMessenger). Make sure you have the PIN entered correctly for each person you want to PIN, like you wife and bro-in-law, or reverse if it is your Bro-in-law PINing you.

I am betting all three of you need delete ALL each other from your BBM Contact list. Pull the battery and reboot the devices.

that was my 1st thought as well. saw him last night and verified that he's got my new pin associated with my contact, and my old one associated with my sister's. we deleted eachother and its still happening.

its strange b/c the messages go to her as well. i opened his conversation window with her and its got responses from abrody and sisterbrody. mine were mostly confused question marks.

you deleted each other in his BB, AND pulled the battery to reboot?

AND, make sure all current conversation with each of those two contacts are closed/deleted.

AND, try the PIN message, NOT BBMessenger message.
