Not really an accurate comment.

I can't speak for the actual Mac version of the Sync software. I think I few people here have it partially working - Also, I have sent files and photos back and forth via bluetooth using my Mac. Try doing a search.

8100 works fine with a Mac. I sync using PocketMac, transfer files via bluetooth and use it as a modem. PocketMac's no prize, but it does basic syncing well enough.

Right... PocketMac (downloadble from BLACKBERRY SITE) is not an amazing application but works with 8100 and USB Connection. I use Tiger with a MacBook. With iSync doesn't work.

8100 will NOT work with Isync but the Pocketmac sync works ok (6 out of 10). You can sync your calendar, addresses, and email but it is not as smooth as it should be. From what I gather RIM took over the Pocketmac development a few months ago and that should be good for us users.
