Hi,

I have a major OS 5.0 problem. The beta OS 5.0 v.5.0.0.169 is causing major issues on my BB 9700. I downloaded the new BB Messenger 5.0 from BB's App World this week and now I have lost BB Messenger completely. I have tried everything to bring it back but no luck. I now need an upgrade of the OS. Does anyone have a copy of OS v.5.0.0.262 or anything newer then the one I am currently running? Please help! Thanks.

Its unlikely anyone does, as no one has a 9700 yet.

Some Vodaphone dude bought one for $1000 and posted pix today. He's using it.

The old bbm5 didn't work for os5, you had to use bbm4.6. Use desktop manager to load up an older version.

With Bell about to release the 9700 this week, I cant believe there are no OS's out there as of yet for the 9700. All the ones you google are posted on megaload which have all been taken down. Anyone know if there is another place we can find this?

i'm running os 5.0.0.238 on my bold with bbm 5.0, working fine, i found it at crackberry.com. fyi, it's a beta version.
