Can someone shed light on me?
I need to sync new Curve to MacBookPro 10.5.1.
Pocket Mac or Missing Sync?

Do I install any software from BB 1st? The install disk doesn't seem to have anything on it.

Entourage or keep Mail and iCal/Addr book?

What is the big deal or difference bet them?

I believe missing sync is the preferred method!

One of the mentioned sync apps must be installed before a Mac computer will recognize it

Missing Sync, it's $40 but worth it. Where as PocketMac continues to function like a beta project despite being handled by RIM the support is awful and its hit and miss at best for most. Missing Sync offers multiple syncing configurations Entourage, iCal, Address Book included.

Some of this actually depends upon the version Entourage you are using. At least in the new version, Entourage takes all its data from Mail, iCal & Address Book so it is going to sync there anyway. I use Missing Sync now after struggling with Pocket Mac on Leopard (it just would not work and caused me to need to wipe the BB).

I also sync on Outlook using VMWare and it gives me the ability to update software, etc. BTW, one nice thing aboit Missing Sync is that it will also dump photos taken/held on the BB into a chosen folder on the Mac.
