hello ppl,
I have a BB pearl 8100, i just installed BD6, but when I click " Configure Settings" in Organizer Data Sync, it tries to connect to Internet and pops the following message:

Your computer must be connected to the Internet in order to initially configure synchronization settings. Please ensure that you are able to connect to the Internet and try again.

Even though internet is ON, this stupid message pops up. Please advise how do i configure? I need to sync my address book!!

Also, is there anyway I can export contacts from BB8100 to Nokia E71

Do you have a BB data plan?

What Organizer are you trying to connect to? If it isn't Outlook, you might be out of luck. If it is Outlook, what version?

Might try DM version 5 to see if that will work.

Export to Outlook and then sync the BB with Outlook or sync the Nokia with Google Contacts and then sync the BB with the same using Google Contact Sync.

i want to sync to OE6, but BD6 wont let me configure that, it wants to connect to Internet for configuration and is unable to do so

Try DM 5 or 4.7 if you can find it. OE doesn't exist any longer in the newer version of Windows (Vista and Win7)
