Default Media Manager and MicroSD card

Please Login to Remove!

Hi

I have just taken receipt of my new 8100 and am loving the device , when connecting the blackberry via Media Manager i am only able to see the internal memory card and not the 1gb microSD card,

on the pearl itself i can access the microSD card,

what do i need to do to get media manager to see the microSD card

turn off mass storage mode and you willbe able to see it through the desktop manager...

While accessing the chip through DM is nice, keep in mind that transferring large files [video, MP3] is painfully slow. Going through Windows Explorer is way faster.

Plus if you connect through Explorer, that is faster than opening DM every time.

What is the mass media mode for on the phone if you shut it off to see it with the computer???
