Hey everyone,

So, my new BlackBerry 8300 is my first phone and I've had it for a little while now. I'm very happy with it for the most part, but I do have a couple questions and a problem or two.

For starters, I'm not permanently stuck in the Apps menu. I have no way of going back Home with the icons at the left side. I've tried every key, rebooting, leaving the battery out for a while and all that, but I still can't go back to the Home screen. I'm always just stuck in the Apps menu with the dozen or do icons I've left unhidden. How can I fix this? Sorry if it's a newbie error, but I am a newbie after all. =)

Also, the plan I'm on current gives me 4MB of Data for the BlackBerry network. What does this data cover? I know that I can't surf the web or anything lest I be broke in a few minutes. Ha. But it does cover email and BBM correct?

Did you change themes by accident? What theme is active? Look in Options >Theme.

Your 4MB will be used when you send/receive email, use BBM, etc.

Are you just using BIS? Rogers has new data plans out for BIS users.

Ahh, haha, thanks so much. I did have the wrong theme selected. That was a bonehead mistake. Thanks again.

What about things like IM and Flickr? I would love to install Windows Live IM and the Flickr photo uploader. I presume those are off the 4MB though...? This no data is really killing me. As soon as my three months have gone by (term in contract for the free phone) I'm definitely switching to a plan with Data.

I presume so. I've been having trouble finding anything out about that. As soon as I try and register at the Rogers site, my carrier, it says my PIN and IMEI are registered with another carrier... I don't understand that. I'm hoping it's just because the activation is so new.
