I didn't find anything about this in the FAQ.

Can I set up a folder on my desktop, (home and work) and sync these folders with the BB (8330 Verizon)?

How would I go about setting this up?

To the Media Card, yes, for media (pictures, music, etc.), using any common file sync application on the PC.

What is it you want to sync? Address Book, Calendar, etc., use Desktop Manager for the functions it is used for.

No... all that is working just fine. I would like to put word documents I am saving, perhaps a spread sheet from time to time, and maybe PDF files in the folder. Documents, not data, in other words. I'd like them to sync with a like folder in the BB and then again with the home computer. I can't find an option to do this in DTMgr but perhaps I'm overlooking something?

Okay, wow. Not an easy fix but looks doable. Thanks all. I'll up the sync process this week and let you know how it goes.

Using Sync Toy......After setting up the two folders, one on the Desktop and one on the media card in the BlackBerry, selecting the sync command, naming the folder group and clicking OK, I get this error:


The procedure entry point TraceMessage could not be located in the dynamic link library ADVAP132.dll


Make sense to anyone? I didn't find it in the help file.

Sorry, Roll. I have not tried this tool myself. You may have better luck posting your question in the original JC thread.
