Default Blank emails when Replying from TMobile 7290

Please Login to Remove!

I have TMobile 7290 using BWC. I forward my company email to my @tmo.blackberry.net address. When I reply to emails, recipients sometimes get blank messages (subject line is intact). You can see the text of the blank message on the blackberry (I am autobcc'ed) but not on Outlook. If send to different email account (my personal gmail account, for example), I can see the text but many spaces and characters are replaced with a character that is a tilted box with a question mark inside. Several people in my office have this problem with their blackberries, most but not all on TMobile. Started happening right after TMobile email upgrade.

I have deleted and recreated account, sent new service books, searched this forum, stumped my IT dept, and spent about 4 hours on phone with TMobile. No solution. Happens intermittently, but very very aggravating. Any suggestions?

I have experienced the exact same issue.
I will receive an email on BB from Outlook. Reply to it. The recipient won't be able to see anything in their Outlook. The text will be visible OK on the BB. Both bb's are 7290 on T-Mobile.

I've had some emails from my tmo.blackberry.net email address bounce to valid addresses...then I change the 'from' email address and it goes thru fine...anyone else had this?

Default Same Problem

Our company uses t-mobile on the 7290, 6210 and 7100 and are having both problems: blank emails and delivery status refused on many emails. We have called t-mobile many times since it started when they changed the service last month. They deny any knowledge and every time we call to log it they claim the caller is the first to alert them. We had IT look through our MS Outlook Exchange server but can't find anything there so it has to be something with their system. I hope they find it and admit to it soon.

What do you mean by 'delivery status refused:' red X in blackberry inbox, or email appears to be sent successfully but then bounced back to you with standard SMTP message 'can not delvier, will try later, blah-blah-blah?'

Its bounced back with that standard SMTP message. Sadly it is often hours after I sent the email that the first "still trying" message comes through. Just minutes ago I received the final delivery status notification failure to a message I sent Friday morning. Kinda negates the value of a quick reply to email with the blackberry.

For standard SMTP bounce, here is a wild guess: recipient mail server mistakenly considers blackberry a spammer.
No wonder, why: early October new mail servers appeared from nowhere and immediately started to send huge amounts of email messages. Some overly paranoid anti-spam systems could overreact.

If this is the case, neither RIM nor T-Mobile can fix it, because recipient email servers are not under their control.

Is this the case even though the "send from" is from an address that these servers regularly see, e.g., my company email address? Does t-mobile tag all the emails regardless so they look like something other than my company email address?

By the way, these are email addresses that, prior to the October change, were receiving emails from my Blackberry with no trouble.

Exactly! Starting October, after with T-Mobile upgrade, email from your blackberry to these email addresses started to arrive from what looks like different mail server than before.

An overly paranoid anti-spam system may conclude that somebody is faking your name and sending what could be a spam signed by you.

The best course of action is to complain to administrator of recipient mail server. Tell them your emails are wrongly rejected, and ask to fix it.
