It's easy for me... The 87xx

I love the new BB's don't get me wrong but if I had to pick my all time favorite it would easily be the 8700...

What's you're all time favorite?

I liked my 8700 for sure. But I like my 9650 even more.

Tough choice - 7750 or 8700. Tough as nails, did what they were supposed to do, uncluttered with carrier crappola. But I do like the speed and power of the 9810.

Typically the new BlackBerry I get becomes my favorite of all time, except the 8820.

The 8700 series models were beautiful, and I used to think my 8700g had the best keyboard ever.

The 9900 is now my all time favorite.

So far, the 9700 is my top choice. Once I get the 9930, it may (or may not) take the top spot.

In the short amount of time I have had the 9900 (got it release day) I'm seriously loving it!

I always said my perfect BB would be the BB keyboard with a touch screen...

Ahh the days of no crapware... I wish the carriers would stop doing this... They seriously must know that most people don't want it!

I could see if the phone was free but I paid full price for mine and I should have complete control over what's on it and what's not...

My personal all-time favorite was the 77XX (I had a 7730), followed closely by the 87XX (I had the 8700c, several 8700gs, and a 8707g). The worst I've used was the 8220.

Really liked my 7250, and still have it. Have a soft spot for my 8330 as well.

Of the BB's I've had

7230
7290
8100
83xx
8700
8800
9000
9800

I would say 9000 was my favorite

My 8700g was, for its time, the perfect smartphone. The 7290 is still my favorite - perfect size, weight, and spacing on the keyboard. Great for guys like me with big hands.

7105t for me. If I had not gone with a CDMA carrier I'd still be switching off to it every now and then.

7780: first BB, no data just talk plan, got me hooked
7290: wow, THE phone at the time! Recently bought one for $5 but thrill is gone ;)
8700: loved it at the time, great keyboard. At the time data plans were really expensive (rogers) so I kept getting them activated & deactivated based on my cashflow!
8100: Pearl; tried it once, hated suretype, tried it twice and loved it, lasted almost 2 years which is a record, loved the size
8800: tried it, hated it esp the squishy keyboard, gone
9700: had several, a classic "new style" BB but screen text microscopic in certain apps, done
9800: got one when first released, not crazy about it, gone
9100: Pearl 3G; great spare phone, still love the small footprint but not as crazy about suretype anymore, wife removed it from my possession, now in hers
9780: wanted "classic" style again but not impressed with lag, gone
9800: second go around with new warranty replacement a couple weeks ago, new philosophy about not trying to make it do the same things as an iPhone, so loving it

But to answer the question of my favorite, believe it or not I'd say either the Pearl 3G or the 9800.

Will probably take a pass on OS7 and wait for QNX.

Personally, I don't think OS7 is the neat thing about the 99xx. It's the hardware. The touchscreen is cool but far from a "must have" feature, especially for a long-time BlackBerry user.

I used to periodically revert to my 7105t from full QWERTY models and found re-adjusting to SureType was a challenge. After a week or so I'd be used to it but then I'd switch back to QWERTY. With each switch back to a full keyboard I found I liked SureType less and less.

My favorite is the 9930 by far. But the 8703e was an awesome device - my first BB.

7100i, 8130...
I really like the suretype keyboard.
Looking forward to having the option of switching from qwerty to 20 key on the 9850 soon...
