Hey I just bought a 9650 from verizon, just wondering what tricks and hacks I can do. I used to have a pearl so I lit up my trackball and so on...So any hacks? Also can I switch the voice call button on the side so it controls the camera?

Moved to the proper section.

No hacks that I am aware of. The BB OS is very secure.

If it has a "convenience key" you might be able to change that. You will have to check the user guide to find out.

How about putting weather on the background? How do you do that? I think I found a app for it, but it says I need a PIN? Whats that LOL

options-screen keyboard and you will find the convenience key setting

For your pin, type "mypin" without the quotes
