The 9630 came out July 12 so if you did the 1 yr/10 mo plan as I did, you will be ready for it in May

I don't but the wait for this phone seems to be longer then the Storm2....

You would think this Bold2/CDMA version is something completely new..

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! It doesnt use the new MS1 LI-PO batteries it uses the old DX1 li-ion. WTH! I was going to replace my 9700 with the 9650 but now i am not so sure. WTH is RIM doing!

i agree...I will be doing the same...that phone looks amazing..although I will wait a month to see if there are major issues before making the switch

Wifi is a good enough upgrade for me period... I've actually been so tempted to jump carriers just to get a phone with a Wi-Fi (and a physical keyboard)
